Fiesta Diary :: Day Two :: Sunday 23 July 2006

Dawn as we pass over the Colne bridge (video). Aquaplaning as Pete drives past Fankfurt airport. At some point in the night we run out of petrol and have to fill from the jerrycan at the side of the road. Arrive in Prague just as the sun is setting and by a stroke of luck find out hotel on the main road into town, right next to the the Staropramen brewery. Time for a quick shower, vodka frenzy in the hot downstairs bar, and then head of to the party at Café Dinitz. It turns out to be hot and noisy. Willster eats. Apparently two girls in a SJ410 are in hospital in Germany with carbon monoxide poisoning. Not good! Nothing to eat late at night here. Lots of drunk people singing.
